Greetings Woodland West Eagle Families,
Wow! Can you believe it is November and the Thanksgiving holidays will soon be upon us. The school year is definitely moving quickly. During this month of Thanksgiving, I find it appropriate to take some time to thank you for your support and involvement during the first quarter of this school year, especially during the month of October. October was filled with so many positive opportunities for our students and families.
Thank you to all of our families who participated in Trunk-r-Treat and Parent Teacher Conferences. Attendance was high, and we truly appreciated your insight and support. The feedback we received was very informative and positive. Thank you for sharing your children with us every day. We value your trust and endless support.
Teamwork is essential as we continue to help Every Student SOAR to Excellence! I encourage you to maintain communication with your child’s teacher throughout the remainder of the year. Daily, we are trying to instill in our students the importance of putting forth their very best effort.
We are committed to celebrating our students for working hard to achieve new goals and accomplishments. We honored our student scholars for what they have accomplished during the first quarter of this school year.
We will also wrap up our United Way Campaign before the Thanksgiving holidays by having two dress down days for 1st-5th grade students and two sock-hop dances for PK and Kindergarten (PK and Kindergarten will not dress down). The cost for each event is $1.00 and all money will go to the United Way. We want to thank you in advance for your support and contributions.
Ms. Fredericks and I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING holiday as this is a time to focus on our blessings! Thank you for being one of our blessings.
